What We Support
The Atwood Foundation awards grants to
non-profit 501( c ) 3 organizations serving Anchorage residents and visitors. Our areas of focus are the arts, journalism, history, the active duty military community and related activities that engage families and youth. We also support post secondary journalism education at the University of Alaska, Anchorage and scholarships at Alaska Pacific University.
Before Applying
IMPORTANT: If you are a first time applicant or a prior applicant requesting support for a different project, please call and consult with us at least two weeks before the deadline. Such applications submitted without prior consultation are usually not funded. Thank you.
